AMON AMARTH Complete 'The Pursuit Of Vikings' Video
December 6, 2004Sweden's AMON AMARTH have finished shooting a video for the song "The Pursuit of Vikings".
Young directors Philipp Hirsch and Heiko Tippelt brought in some great ideas and did an awesome job in filming and editing the clip as well, according to a press release. "We recorded the video in an old abandoned railway house in Bischofswerda, close to Dresden, Germany," said AMON AMARTH singer Johan Hegg. "We got to work a lot with pyrotechnics, and using that indoors of course created a lot of soot, so we were blowing black snot out of our noses for about four days afterwards. The recording took all day, about ten hours all in all, and after that we were supposed to perform on stage for 90 minutes. Needless to say, we were all pretty damn tired after that day, but in the end it was all worth it. The video turned out great in my opinion, and the film team really managed to capture the mood of the song in the video."
The "The Pursuit of Vikings" video will premierethis coming Sunday evening on the German Viva Plus show "Axt".
